In Detail
The Portugal Digital Strategy was designed taking into account the national context and needs, while also reflecting the ambition of the European framework. Accordingly, the Strategy is aligned with the Digital Decade 2030 Programme, considering its core dimensions and the digital rights and principles defined by the European Union. This alignment ensures that Portugal’s digital transition is guided by European values such as inclusion, transparency and the protection of citizens’ rights in the digital environment.
This Strategy places people at the centre of its initiatives, ensuring that technology contributes to social and economic progress by expanding access to opportunities and reducing inequalities, rather than creating exclusion. “Portugal’s Digital Transformation: The key to simplification” is a clear commitment to the simplification and digitalisation of Portugal and to building a more inclusive society where no one is left behind.
As a structured and comprehensive plan, the Portugal Digital Strategy aims to make Portugal a European benchmark in the digital domain.
