Once again, AMA assumes its role as a public institution responsible for promoting and developing administrative modernisation in Portugal, by proposing, through the Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) project, the exploration of pathways towards an AI that incorporates these concerns. To this end, it provides documents and tools that support and encourage the progressive and gradual adoption of ethical, transparent, and responsible AI.
At the practical level of this project, a risk assessment tool is made available to enable the analysis of AI systems’ susceptibility. This tool allows the assessment of AI systems across five fundamental dimensions, offering recommendations and suggested readings tailored to the users’ level of maturity. Ultimately, both the GuIA and the tool aim to structure the process of developing and implementing more ethical, responsible, and transparent intelligent systems, fostering the adoption of good practices and behavioural change.
