In Detail
With more than 700 projects of the ICT Strategy 2020 completed, representing an investment of around €300 million, it was possible to achieve an impact of approximately €720 million in benefits and savings (ICT and non-ICT), resulting in net benefits exceeding €420 million.
These results confirm the importance of investing in the digital transition of Public Administration and – more importantly – demonstrate its usefulness in terms of the positive impact generated.
The ICT Strategy 2020 contributed to greater proximity between the State and society and enabled the provision of integrated and inclusive public services, organised around people’s needs and in an omnichannel logic. In this way, it maximised the potential of technology to simplify and reduce bureaucracy in processes and procedures, while ensuring that no one is left behind.
