9th meeting of the CDAP Strategic Committee

The 9th meeting of the Strategic Committee of the Council for Digital in Public Administration (CDAP) was held on 15 May 2025, at the premises of the National Security Office (GNS), at the invitation of Rear Admiral António Gameiro Marques.

The agenda included an update on the progress of the Technical Working Groups on Cybersecurity and Cloud, which gave rise to a valuable exchange of ideas on these central themes for the digital transformation of the public sector.

Ricardo Simões Santos, Director of Digital Strategy and Policy at AMA, presented the Action Plan 2025–2026 of the Portugal Digital Strategy – specifically the definition of a development plan for sovereign cloud infrastructure. A participatory session followed, during which members of the Strategic Committee were invited to share their views on sovereign cloud and its implementation in Portugal.

The session also featured a presentation by Luís Correia, Director of TicAPP at AMA, on the gov.pt app, whose new version was the first milestone delivered under the Portugal Digital Strategy. The presentation highlighted the contribution of this initiative to other programmes and strategies, as well as potential use cases and two conceptual studies for the future evolution of the app’s functionalities.
