In Detail

The Government has launched the Digital Skills Pact, an initiative designed to accelerate the digital upskilling of citizens, businesses and Public Administration. The Pact is part of the priorities of the National Digital Strategy and aligns with the European targets set out in the Digital Decade 2030.

This initiative brings together public bodies, companies, educational institutions and civil society organisations to promote joint actions in digital literacy, professional reskilling, technical training and specialisation in emerging technologies.

Among the Pact’s objectives are strengthening digital inclusion, promoting essential skills for the safe use of technology, creating opportunities for advanced training, and encouraging partnerships that foster digital talent development across the country.

Membership is open to organisations from all sectors wishing to commit to concrete actions in digital capacity-building, contributing to a more prepared, secure and innovative society.
