Advisory Board

Composition and Responsibilities

The Advisory Board consists of five independent individuals with recognised expertise in the field of administrative modernisation and digital technologies. These individuals are appointed by a member of the Government responsible for modernisation and digitalisation.

The Advisory Board may be supported by experts in specialised fields within the scope of the CDAP's area of intervention. It convenes biannually and on an extraordinary basis whenever requested by the Government member responsible for modernisation or the Strategic Committee.

The Advisory Board for Digital Transformation is responsible for:

  • Providing guidance on key trends, challenges, and opportunities related to the digital transition, administrative modernisation, and emerging technologies, contributing to the exchange of international best practices;
  • Advising on the objectives, priorities, and challenges of implementing the Portugal Digital Strategy and the action plans for the digitalisation and modernization of the Public Administration, including the sector-specific plans.
