Biography
She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of Lisbon; a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management from the Higher Institute of Management; a postgraduate degree in Executive Management from the Portuguese Catholic University; and is a PhD candidate in Gender Studies at the University of Lisbon and Nova University of Lisbon.
She has been Chair of the Board of Directors of Associação DNS.PT, responsible for managing Portugal’s Internet domain – .pt, since 2012.
She also serves on the National Board of DECO and is a Board Member of CENTR – the European ccTLD Association. She was Director of the Domain Names Registry.PT at FCCN – the Foundation for National Scientific Computing, from November 2000 to June 2013, and Executive Board Member of FCCN from 2011 to 2013.
She has participated in several national and international groups for the development of the Information Society, having served as General Coordinator of the National Initiative for Digital Skills e.2030 (INCoDe.2030) from 2021 to 2024, one of the leaders of the project Açores: Digital Region, member of the Mission for the Information Society, founding partner of APDSI, member of the Strategic Council of ACEPI, member of the Executive Committee of MUDA – Movement for Active Digital Use, and is part of the National Council of the Agakan Foundation.
