Digital Transition Strategies
Objective
The strategy defined for the country’s digital transition, implemented through the Portugal Digital Mission Structure (EMPD) and reflected in the Action Plan for the Digital Transition (Plano de Ação para a Transição Digital, PATD), established by Resolution of the Council of Ministers (Resolução do Conselho de Ministros, RCM) No. 31/2020, led to the development of several national strategies. These strategies were designed as measures and initiatives under the PATD, with the aim of promoting technology adoption and diffusion to support the competitive digitalisation of businesses and the modernisation of Public Administration. They contribute to a more efficient, competitive and resilient ecosystem, fostering economic growth and societal well-being. This document is available in Portuguese only.
